May 24-26, 2009 AFL Leadership Mission to Israel

In May 2009 American Friends of Likud hosted a two day mission in Israel for it's leadership and President Club members. It was a unique opportunity to meet and hear from Israel's newly elected Ministers, security officials, policy makers, journalists and other experts as well as a chance to tour the South and visit a few of it's newly developed communities.

April 14, 2009 Private Breakfast with Vice Prime Minister, Moshe Ya'alon, at the Menachem Begin Heritage Center

American Friends of Likud together with the Menachem Begin Heritage Center hosted a private breakfast with Vice Prime Minister & Minister of Strategic Affairs, Moshe Ya'alon. The breakfast took place at the Begin Center in Jerusalem and Minister Ya'alon briefed our guests on the strategic challenges facing Israel today and what to expect in his first 100 days in office.

At American Friends of Likud, this new year promises to be as exciting as ever as we continue to develop our programming and further our educational efforts on behalf of Israel and the Jewish People.

Over the course of the past year we have greatly developed our chapters in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Pennsylvania, as well as stregnthened our efforts in New York.

In addition to the ever-growing success of our Caravan for Democracy High School Edition Israel advocacy program and our Young Professionals Division, we began a new program, Likud on Campus, to educate college students on current events in Israel and help them in their efforts to be strong advocates for the State of Israel.

MK Livnat will be giving us a greater understanding of Israel's current position and what we in the United States can do to help strengthen Israel throughout the coming year.
